Environmental Case In Situ

ACI exclusively uses Bruel & Kjaer Type-1 2250/2260 Sound Level Meters (SLM) in all environmental cases.  Thus each monitor is capable of:

  • Simultaneous A-wtd, C-wtd, 1/3 Octave Band Logging
  • Full Digital High Resolution Audio Recordings
  • Real-time Frequency Analysis
  • Data Transfer and Remote Control of Instrument via a host PC

  

The SLM's are placed in custom environmental cases which allow the sound level meters to:

  • Run autonomously for more than 120 hours in the summertime and 72 hours during the wintertime.
  • Operate in harsh environmental conditions (below - 25°c temperature, + 20 km/hr winds,  heavy rain, etc.)
