Gary Faulkner, Ph.D., P.Eng.
Dr. Faulkner is a Professor Emeritas in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta. For over 30 years, Dr. Faulkner has also acted as a consultant to numerous industrial, legal and government groups. This work includes:

In his time at the UofA, Dr. Faulkner has taught several courses on acoustics, vibration, mechanical measurements, statics, and dynamics as well as supervised many graduate students and held the position of Department Chair. Dr. Faulkner has published over 100 technical articles on various aspects of mechanics including static and dynamic analysis of solid structures, biomechanics, and noise control. He has received numerous awards for teaching excellence as well as for his involvement in professional and technical organizations.
